I, like almost every other sane person ;), adore Dallas Green. Brian, oddly enough, is the one who got me into City + Colour. He tends to listen to solely hardcore and metal, occasionally some old hiphop or even older jazz, and some indie folk here and there after I've constantly crammed it down his throat. So for him to discover and overplay something folky before I do is basically unheard of. However, he turned me on to City + Colour about a year ago and I've been thankful ever since. I've found myself digging deeper into Dallas Green's catalog and listening to nothing but for days at a time. Sleeping Sickness remains his most poignant piece for me still, but I am pretty sure the man is a genius. Did I mention beard? Because beard too btw.

I really like City and Colour, and although I like Alexisonfire more, I'm excited for the new stuff to come now that Alexisonfire has officially broken up. Dallas is great live, if you have a chance to see him, definitely do it!
