disjointed.

blouse: vintage ($2)
dress: cooperative via uo ($15 sale)
patent ballet flats: kimchi blue via uo ($15 sale)

This week I've been feeling really all over the place. I have my fingers in about ten different pots, I'm juggling a few too many projects. It only seemed fitting to share this outfit which is equally as disjointed as my brain currently. It was warm in my apartment when I got dressed, but when I arrived at the hill I wanted to take photos on, the fog hadn't burnt off and I was frozen. I also had errands to run afterward and I felt way overdressed for my small town post office--thigh highs tend to get second glances. I also began playing around with blurring the not always attractive background of the photos in Photoshop but as you can tell in some of these--it didn't go perfectly and I neglected to save the original files. Oh well, learning curves are normal.

In more disjointed news, I began a 'fitblr' blog, find it here. Fitblr is a community on tumblr full of fitness blogs. I've been getting real serious with my clean eating, cardio, weight and strength training routines and Brian and I have signed up for another 5k in mid-March. I didn't want to overwhelm my regular tumblr blog (here) with food&fitness and though I plan to post periodic updates on my progress here on this blog, I wanted a place where I could keep everything--inspiration, updates, trackers, and community. I'm telling myself that the third times the charm. When I initially gained all my Crohn's/steriod weight I tried very hard to lose it, but wound up back on steriods. Two years ago, Brian and I got healthy together and I was very successful in making a dent in my original weight gain, but after a lot of life curve balls I gained it all back, plus more. This will be my third attempt, but for once I am trying to focus not on the end goal, but more on the journey of nourishing my body back to health via the right foods and consistent exercise. If you want to follow along over there, please do!

Finally, did you check out my review of my new favorite Subscription Box, My Cotton Bunny? It's a SubBox for your period--seriously, it's amazing. And, even more awesome, they've offered up a box to my readers :) Check out the giveaway and all the details here!
